Octron2 just arrived!

My Octron2 pedal from Dave Fox (Foxrox) just arrived, and it is the best tracking octaver I've ever played! It has both the lower ocatve (ala OC-2) and an octave above (ala Octavia) which can be used separately or in unison, with or without the direct signal. Each of the three signals can be switched in or out, with a master bypass to run straight through. You can therefore make a preset of the desired effects and then hit the one switch to bring them in. It also has its own loop, which means you can put an envelope filter or boost or any other effects into the chain when the Octron2 is engaged. It is all analog, true bypass and sounds incredibly organic and juicy. The direct signal is also clean buffered with a moderate amount of boost available. Absolutely stunning!

Congrats on the new purchase. I was going to get on the list, but I just can't see myself using the effect too often. Those things do track well though, better than most octave pedals out there.

Yeah, there's a lot going on in a CC2...but I've heard they're great.

Thanks lpmarshall, I know what you mean about not using it too often, but it's going to be great for a quick blast in the odd solo to take it "elsewhere!"

The tracking is close to faultless, Dave's done a fine job designing this puppy.
