Odd amp problem,please help

So my house is solar powered with a battery bank and an inverter and lately my Crate GT500H has some godawful high pitched staticy distortion going on that only happens at my house. If i play it elsewere its totally gone. None of my other amps tube or solid state have this problem.

The thing is my inverter doesnt put out true Sine-wave power, its a squared off sine wave, could this have something to do with it? I run all my amps thru a power conditioner and like i said its only this amp.

Any ideas? Hopefully someone knowledgable in the land of amps will chime in here.

Thanks in advance.

Inverters are really bad in terms of putting out high-frequency noise onto the line. As far as why it's only this amp, it may be a layout problem inside. Something like, the noise enters the amp chassis on the AC lines, and then gets radiated into an audio line. You'd really need an amp tech to go through it at your house to track down where the noise is entering the signal chain.

Thanks for responding i hadnt thought about radio interference. Do you by any chance know a way to try and shield the amp from radio interference? The nearest tech is something like 2 hours from me and im pretty sure he wouldnt do house calls.
