Odd pickup wiring question...

This may be a dumb question, but can I wire 2 pickups to a single push-pull pot?

I've got an Epiphone Les Paul Hollowbody project guitar, and I am interested in routing in a middle single coil pickup but want to avoid adding a 3rd set of volume/tone pots (due to aesthetics and more elective guitar surgery).

If I understand you correctly, you want to add a single between two existing humbuckers? You can do that and wire into the existing controls. No new holes needed.

A push/pull would normally before splitting the coils, but you would also need a four wire pickup.
