Odd strat pickups on a partscaster.

I bought a parts strat...sandwich body, odd larger pickups that measure around 7.5-7.7k ohm each.

Where can these pickups be from? The seller said it was a mij strat it came out of but i dunno..the pickguard is cut out at the heel to accomodate a neck with a bottom truss rod adjustment.

I bought a fender genuine mint green pickguard and it came nowhere near fitting...pickup holes were too small and screw holes were way out of wack.

I guess im just trying to "put the pieces together" and find out where the parts came from. The axe sounds GREAT.

I'm not good at IDing pickups, especially older ones, but you'd need to post pics of the whole pickup, without the cover, in order to get any kind of answer back.

If they are wound to 7k, I'm going to assume, though, that they are cheaper ceramic bar type pickups, unless you can say for sure that those are alnico pole pieces sticking out of the top.
