Offering a Custom/59 Hybrid WTT

I have now two Hybrids made of two Customs with one dead coil each. I first thought to make one working pup out of the 2, but luckily then came up the Hybrid craze. They are really the best of both worlds!

I got the dead coils rewound by winder David Barfuss with 42 AWG plain enamel wire and 4.1k. carrying an A2. Now you can one of them: an all black, 12 inch hook up wire, long legged, normal spaced, Decal with "DCJ" wound by Maricela Juarez (Custom Shop Head).

I prefer to trade in for SD neck bucker (preferred Pearly Gates, Jazz) or a Screaming Deamon (prefering zebra)

Is the black one normal spaced? Also, could I get a picture, and you willing to sell outright?

4.1k ? isn't that a bit low? I think strat single coils in the high 5' - low 6's is about the weakest I've ever seen. Or did you mean 14k?

How do these sound, sounds like an interesting idea.

I'm pretty sure he means he had a Custom with a dead coil and older MJ wound one at that...

Then he had a fellow rewind the dead coil to 59 spec and dropped in a A2 mag..

And bam he has a 4.1k/7k-ish hybrid with a A2 mag...

LoFiBrian is right! 4.1k of 42AWG and 7.2 of 43 AWG is the way to go to get a Custom/59 Hybrid.
