Are you perhaps familiar with Ken Gilbert's BAGA? It's just a wimpy 600 watts, though, so you'd need two of them.

That thing sure fits the title of this thread. 12 KT90's????? HOLY ****!!!!! On the first page he said NO VOLUME CONTROL!!!! My lord, you could probably hear that thing in the next zip code....LOL.

Rebuild it a bit and it could make a nice home hifi amp...tube warmth but very clean
