Oh my gosh!! I found some vintage B Bent!!! (age 17)

[B Bent]

I found a CD my buddy and I made at an impromtu jam session from when we were 17!!! This was recorded on a headset mic. My buddy Darren on the drums is 100% BLIND keep in mind. I was playing a Gretsch Jet Firebird through an early Line 6 digital amp!!! I sucked even back then. The song in question is the blues jam.


This CD is priceless!!!

Two 17 year olds that hit the record button on a computer and recorded through a headphone mic!!!! Also sloppy guitar playing thanks to me!!! LOL!!!!

I liked that. Oh to be 17 again. You realize that when I was 17 ... CDs did not exist. Tapes of me at 17 dry rotted long ago. :no:

Dudes I am telling ya... I have been listening to this song and the others for hours tonight. I forgot all about them. One thing is for sure we played raw. I really miss jamming w/ Darren. He is an inspirational dude.




PS... With the talent on this board i am debating if I should upload the rest of the stuff. There's some Creed in there from when they 1st came out :chairfall Also got a surf medley thing too!!!

OMG dude. My mother just asked me the other day about some old cassette tapes she found of me from about that age and what she would do with them. I don't even have to hear them to know what they are. They're me with an old acoustic with headphones wrapped around them, and plugged into the input of my cassette deck cranked to the max, so I could get distortion out of the guitar. She asked why I wanted to save them. I said so I could laugh at them when I'm 70. That is if they'lll hold up. Cool stuff man!! I'm glad you found it.

you are fortunate you have clips of when you where 17, I never recorded myself until 99 or 2000 and I started playing somewhere in 95 and I still suck!!! I really like the feel and you where getting a good surf tone that the mic didnt pick up

It's funny because it was a headphone mic!! I am surprised it even picked up at all.
