A while ago I posted a topic about me possibly buying a Les Paul, and for a long time nothing happened about it. BUT yesterday i finally ordered it:
GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD
2 burstbuckers
60s neck
AA carved maple top in Wine Red
with Gibson hard case, 12 sets of strings, Gibson strap and plecs,
all for I think a very reasonable price - £1299.

I am so excited about this!!! it should be here early next week!!! i'll post pics as soon as i can get em.

assuming everything goes well with the delivery (fingers crossed) I REALLY recommend these guys if you're in the UK. They're based in london, but ship to anywhere on the UK mainland for £17. The guys who i spoke to via e-mail/phone were all really nice, helpful blokes. They pride themselves on excellent prices and they're not wrong! They're working on the site at the mo, but check em out.

I've been waiting for 2 months already to get my Custom Heritage with antiquities.

When I get it - Tons of high res pics and some clips when I tame the beast!

Damn your a lucky girl!

I couldn't comprehend spending that much on one axe, it actually costs roughly the same as all of my electrics and my bass

Mind you, it'll sound great through the right amp

Yeah thats the itsy bitsy drawback - im gonna be repaying my parents for a rather long time. I dont plan on buying another guitar anytime soon. Like, for the next 15 years, or ever. This one is going to LAST. Im not after loads and loads of gear, so I pushed the boat out and went for the really really good stuff.

Unfortunatly i dont think i'll be buying any clothing or food for a while either. My friends christmas and birthday presents are being made from string.
