Old Duncan bass pickups.

I stopped in to a little shop in town last night to see what was new (it'd been a while) and one of the things that caught my eye was an old Charvel bass. I don't know what model it was - pointy headstock, neck through, 22 fret (i think), pointy cutaways, P-J pickups. Nice player, too.
Anyway, the reason I took a closer look at the bass was the pickups. They were closed cover (like EMG) and were branded as Seymour Duncan (not basslines). They also each had three little dip switches on the right side.
Does anyone know about these??

Re: Old Duncan bass pickups.

those are the old active duncan bass pups i think. the switches are a bass boost and eq switch as far as i can remember, pretty cool. a friend of mine had a red charvel bass just like that for years, might still have it. we played metal and heavier stuff and it sounded great

Re: Old Duncan bass pickups.

I have a couple of sets of them from a pickup deal I made with former administrator Rodney Gene. I have both bass types. I have never used them as I don't play bass. They were part of the package deal.

If you are interested in them, let me know.
