Old JB has arrived in the Custom Shop for a rewind... S-Deco-5 11.5k

Sent my old JB in (along with an old Sears and Roebuck bass pickup) for a rewind. UPS said they arrived today. I'm getting it re-wound to S-Deco-5 11.5k specs for the bridge of my Les Paul after talking to MJ about a hotter Jimmy Page pickup. I have a feeling this one is going to be dripping with mojo when I get it back... in 6-10 weeks.

Anticipation...

Nice! I had a deco 2 neck for a while and it was very sweet.. glassy, yet fat.
I think you will have a nice pickup when you are done. I wouldn't mind checking out the deco 2 alnico 11.5k also. If you are not quite happy with it, I suggest trying the a2 magnet.

Will do Stevo. I'm keeping it exposed coil just for that reason, to keep the magnet swap option possible... just in case.

Guys please clue me in on the S Deco thing. 11.5 I understand but what gauge? Thanks
