What are your thoughts and onions on this older unit and what is your favorite chorus pedal.
...my onions :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I never cared for the MXR Chorus, it is ok...just something about the sweep that I never really dug...no the MXR Flanger is the only way to fly if you want to get your Van Halen on! The flanger also has a strange sweep but if you want the EVH tone you GOTTA have one. I really like the EH chours, the Small Clone as well as the Clone Theory...I have an older Ibanez SC-10 that is real cool as well. I would have to say thet my favorite would be either of the EH units, that said I would rather have a flanger most of the time.

I also must say that I have never played a Boss CE-1...I really want to try one but they are just too damned expensive!

Yea ,I got bored so I said my onions ,thought I would put a little humor in there. I never tried an old CE-1 either. I know they are supposed to be nice. I do own the flanger but you still need a nice chorus for clean and yea I use to own a EH phase it has a more dominate sound.

The VooDoo Labs is supposed to a sonic model of the CE-1...Blues Saraceno sold his old CE-1 when he got the VooDoo Labs...as soon as I have the cash that's what I'm doing...they sound fantastic clean!

Very cool I will keep that in mind. What about a deja vibe fulltone quite a few players are using those I heard.

Re: Old MXR stereo chorus pedal

Thanks for clarifing that for me. The univibe must have a very dominate strong chorus type sound which I like. What would be some good examples.
