Okay, I have an old SVT head from my bass playing days that I've been thinking of selling. I bought it used in 1980 and by the look of it when I bought it I'm guessing it was about 2 to 3 years old. Much to my dismay I can't find a tag or anything anywhere on the amp for a serial number. I know it was there when I bought the amp but what happened to it throughout the years is anybodys guess. How can I sell an amp with no serial number? I know the first thing I would think was that it was stolen, which it was'nt. I e-mailed Ampeg twice but never got a response. Any suggestions?
