One of the best lead boosts I've ever used...

Meant to produce distortion without loosing low end, it's basically a Rat with a blend knob. Into the front end of a Dual Rectifier it's pretty cool. You can dial in the distortion to be really wooly and inarticulate with a ton of sustain.... and yet the dry blend produces attack and articulation.

May not be everyone's cup of tea... but it's worth checking out.

Yeah drives with clean blends are great regardless of how they're marketed. Bass drives don't always sound good on guitar but many of them have short lineage to staple guitar drive circuits.

I have a Markbass Mini Dist that I love as a boost into tubes. Great EQ points on the tone knob.

This one was meant to be a Rat that was redesigned for bass. It's a little too wooly/fuzzy for rhythm unless you're looking for an inarticulate fuzz type vibe... makes me realize why guitar pedals have the low end dialled down. But for lead it sounds good (IMO, and may not be to everyones taste).
