One speaker or two?

I want to get a Mesa Stilletto Ace, and the amps in the stores have only one speaker, but there is an option for two in the catalog. Would spending the extra money be worth it?

Re: One speaker or two?

If you're doing really well with a band that plays live, then a head gives you the option of various speaker configurations. Otherwise, 50 Watts will probably be very disappointing, because you'll never be able to play it loud enough to use its full potential ( or even a fraction of it ). This is an extremely common mistake for people who are not used to working in the 50 to 100 Watt range on a regular basis.

+1

Even with a 40 watt amp, I find that an extra speaker really opens up the sound when you're playing live . . .
