Oops I did it again...

Sold a guitar I wasn't gelling with recently, and decided to get a big hunk of semi-hollow goodness.

The Gibson stuff is about $4K new, so that was out of the question. Found this little gem in a shop I used to work at actually.

This was way cheaper and is in the "Inspired by Gibson" line.
That means CTS pots stock, alnico mag pickups, with proper single conductor braided wire. This thing just sings!

I've never, never, never felt the urge of a semihollow, maybe because I didn't like the guitars with chambered bodies I had, who knows

That's a nice semi-hollow. The one I had was a Hamer EchoTone. It was set up really nice by the previous owner. Played like butter. Had to let it go to help pay for car transmission repairs. And I got it super cheap too.

I like semi hollow guitars myself
the larger acoustic size body of the 335 always gets me

I have several LP sized semi hollow guitars
And they are great

My other one is a Hamer Artist Custom. Like a Les Paul DC style semi-hollow. I definitely like the semi-hollow thing a lot.

Congrats!

I love my IBG 335. I've swapped pickups and changed to a Gotoh Nashville bridge to suit me but out of the box it was an excellent guitar
