Opeth's acoustic influences

Well I've really been getting into Opeth's softer acoustic stuff and I'd like to look further into this style. Does anyone here know who some of the artists are that Akerfeldt got his acoustic influences from?
I'm talking about songs such as To Bid You Farewell, Credence, Hours of Wealth, Dirge for November and such.
Does anyone know some bands/artists that play this sort of stuff?

Camel was their biggest influence on the lighter side of things, but I can't say if they did that much acoustic stuff, as I haven't checked them out really.
