i'm building a project superstrat.warmoth rear routed (HxH) mahogony body with maple cap , warmoth maple neck with brazillian rosewood fretboard .initially i purchased a matched set of 59's , but rethinking that because i've been hearing/reading on the forum alot of good stuff about a PGn and SH-14(C5)b combo. my band plays blues/classic rock.on my own i like to play classic/hard rock and metal.i usually plug into a marshall DSL 100 and a marshall 4x12 w/vint30's.( my main guitars are les pauls)thanks in advance for any and all comments.:smokin:

Re: opinions/feedback wanted!!!!!

If you've already got the 59's, I'd at least install them and listen to them. Then go from there. For some reason, I tend to think of 59's as the Duncan foundation. (Maybe, because they're SH-1's.) I realize that budget considerations may be a factor here, but if you can, try them for awhile.

Some folks find the neck 59 to be a bit low-end heavy. But its still a nice set.

yes I have a '59 neck and it is real bassy, but in a strat it should be fine, and for playing in a "blues" band i think you'll have a really good outcome..as for metal.....yea you might wanna think about something hotter :P
