Opinions on Norman guitars?

I might be getting one - I've played the B18 in store, and it sounds magnificent! Definitely an improvement over what I have now, but also up to par (I think, at least) with my friend's Taylor. May buy it (it's a total steal, too!), but I may also order in a B20cw model with electronics (fishman 4?) to check that one out.

So, what do you guys think of Norman guitars, if you have experience with them? Good value for money? Do you like the sound? Would you compare it to the entry-level Martin/Taylor acoustics?

* on a side note: I love the $ - € currency flip these days. I'm in Boston right now, and I'm enjoying the 30% that I'm saving in using your crazy US $. :)

Re: Opinions on Norman guitars?

Norman guitars are definitely good/great guitars IMO... I've played a few and they've all been worth their price and more.

If I were to buy another not-too-pricey acoustic, they'd be right up the list. They're a steal on the used market...

I'm sure you'll be pleased.:)

Anyone else have experience with Normans? Anything I should be particularly on the lookout for? (Bearing in mind I'm a lefty - if that's relevant, of course.)

I once played a B20 at Manny's in NYC. I compared it with other guitars at 3 to 4 times the price of the Norman and none of them sounded better. It's a little plain in the looks department but a great value.
