Options for Ibanez K7

I have a K7 and thinking about swapping the pickups. I like the black winters on my RG 6-string so I thought about that route. I was also thinking the Jeff Loomis or Blackouts might be a good option. I know the routing on the screw wings might be an issue since Ibanez likes to make the rounded ends, making the JL more appealing since I shouldn't need to do any mods. Any thoughts on personal experience? Thanks.
Using a Peavy 6505+ Combo if that helps. No mods on it yet.

Can't see why that wouldn't work, but what kind of tones are you after?

Kinda hard to gasp that the K7 is pretty much a classic instrument at this point in life. Time goes by so fast, man.
