Orange Micro Terror/Fender 2000's bassman 115 cab with Eminence Big Ben

I put this combo together by chance, and wow...I am amazed. The micro terror has a Russian mullard pre amp tube in it and it is a lot louder than the stock jj and smoother in my opinion. It also seems more open and not as compressed. As for driving the 15 inch eminence big ben...wow. This is a very British sound but has a very warm round sound. Awesome for classic rock, country or blues. The only thing I will say about the Mullard, they take a little longer to warm up than the jj, but a BIG boost to the little micro terror in both volume and clear tone.

This is just classic. You can barely see the head on top of that cab! Love it!

Very Nice Indeed.!
Would be great if more players could experience a 15" speaker. Always thought The Big Ben was a good sound.....but that is always a personal preference thing.
good luck wit it

People have forgotten that a lot of classic sounds came through 15 in speakers...the Fender Showman was one. The Big Ben is amazing. Definately redefines amazing tones.

A 15" in an open or semi open back cab is a marvel to behold when pushed by any decent amount of power.
