orange retro 50

alright this one's way out of my price range, but i have some time to decide which of many amps i want to get. i heard a retro 50 online the other day and it was quite simply the best amp i've heard in my life. so i ask what would be the closest thing to it sonicly just not pocketly wise. i probabably don't want a cab cause i don't feel like hauling it around. i know i switch amps a lot but if i'm gonna get a good one i'm gonna get the best sounding one i can for the money. Here's the fun part price range = early-to-mid $1000s

The Retro 50 looks to me much closer to a vintage Orange with a few modern features while most if the new Orange amps (IMO) are not much like the old ones at all. That said there is not much else that sounds like an Orange except another Orange...sorry bro!
