Hi.
I ordered some wiring to rewire a guitar (has not arrived yet). Dunno what I was thinking when ordering and it only occurred to me afterward: I've ordered a roll of pickup wire (exactly the same wire as comes with the pickups themselves i.e. four core plus earth strand). The idea was to remove individual wires from the roll and cut to size (obviously). But this wire is thinner than the wire that's on any of my guitars (with the exception of the actual pickup wire as noted). Is this alright??? Or is the wire that connects the pots. etc. supposed to be thicker than the actual pickup wire???
