Organic sounding acoustic guitar

Hi,

I am looking to purchase an organic sounding, easy to play acoustic guitar. Basically the best guitar I can get for a decent price $500-800 maybe?

I am looking for a very clean,
beautiful tone for depressive folk and black metal.

Thanks,
Aaron

I played a great one in that price range not too long ago. Made in china I believe. Walton, or something with a W. From what I understand, I'm not the only one who feels this way about these guitars on this here forum. Also, Seagulls are pretty nice, if you like (usually) wide/thin necks.

I'd go straight for the Martin DR and DM, and also the Taylor 110, 210, 310.
When they're setup nice, you can hardly distinguish their tone from more expensive models of Martin and Taylor.

The taylors are awesome but they are quite bright sounding. You might like it but it isn't very depressing.

You might like seagulls as well. Gretsch has some cool flat tops, I have one, sounds great.

Might be able to snag a Gibson off ebay maybe? I'm looking now, they have some nice ones. I think Jimmy Page played a j-45 on white summer/black mountain side.
