That`s a really nice feature... Does any other high-quality guitars have this? Let`s say Jackson?

How does really people think of the Musicman compared to a Jackson USA?

PRS and Ibanez do a piezo option, and the Fender Nashville Power Tele comes with one too.

i believe godin and brian moore guitars have em too


u can put em on any guitar now
fishman and lr baggs have piezo replacement bridges for strats and tunomatic bridges
ibanez i think have the patent for piezo in floyd systems (their double edge tremelo??)

Aside from the one's mentioned above, I put them into my custom guitars as do Driskill, McInturff, Thorn, and mcNaught. 2 forum members are getting guitars with the Graphtec ghost system right now so they should be able to give a tone report within the next couple of weeks when they get their guitars

My buddy just got his Schecter C-1 E/A with an RMC Piezo and I was extreemly impressed at the tone quality and usefulness of it.

Piezos are crystals imbedded in the bridge saddles, which transfer string pressure into electrical energy- essentially, it makes your electric sound like a plugged in acoustic, and depending on the setup, it can be *very* convincing. I have RMC's in my Brian Moore (www.rmcpickup.com) and love them.
Wonder why Duncan never made a piezo system?

The new Gibson Slash Les Paul has a piezo bridge. My Brian Moore i88.13 has one as well.

Tom Anderson do all their models with a piezo option, trem or no trem.

As for the quality difference between Musicman and Jackson USA, I'd say they are pretty similar. It comes down to taste: Jackson tend to make more '80s shredder' guitars, and Musicmans tend to have a more vintage fender derived feel. Of course, musicman make the axis, which I think is the best shredder guitar I've played, and Jackson's custom shop would be able to mimick a musicman neck if you asked, so it's not a black and white, either/or thing.

Overall, I prefer musicman in all but one area: they look a little small.
