Used one of my projects here.....it is no secret that our line with the Boostkick, Rockdrive, Heavydrive is not much to my taste...
So I sometimes takes one of them and transform them into something different!!!!
Not a sound I normally would use much by the way...
Used my strat, and my Jen Wah, plus an Echotone delay.

I like. What would you say this pedal is marketed for? Mostly hard rockers it seems? Is it your take on a metal pedal?

No market, it is just a leftover box from one of the boss' experiments, before the Red Repeat, Crush Zone and Surf Trem came up instead.
I do not think we ever will make a metal pedal...well not one of us from work that is....
hehe
It can do other tones that this, the eq is quite flexible, it is a very lowdistortion one!

Oh I see. Your clip was pretty heavy though it seemed? Well I liked it. For some reason purple drive seems to fit very well!
What are those very big round things? Vintage trannies?

Hehe nah not much gain there, just alooot of mids, and some funny action from those NPN trannies
Not vintage, used in highvoltage applications..lol

Depends on amp I guess??
It is not a very distorted overdrive, meant for anything else but....metal
