output of JB in mV?

anyone have this info?

Because of the scooped mids I'm leaning away from the Steve's Special. I'm looking at the FRED now, but I'm curious what the output of the JB is so I can compare. The mids on the fred seem pretty similar to that of the JB.

You can't get the output of that pickup in mV....there' really no company to company standard. Even if Duncan did take mV measurements...their method would not necessarily be the same as Dimarzio...making a comparison between companies invalid.

I don't know that you can use the numbers to make an accurate comparison. To do so would requre Duncan and DiMarzio to do identical tests, exciting the pickup in exactly the same way.

I'm sure someone on here knows the number, though. There are probably a few people that have used both pups and can tell you from experience which one is hotter.
