Over resonant guitar - what to do ?

I have Warmoth Mahogany Rhoads V with Kramer Striker neck. Schaller lockmeister. H/S. Now, I had S-Deco, and now i have Custom in it and a guitar has a fair amount feedback/squeal. I play Laney AOR 50/Laney GH50L 50 watts. The amps are not an issue as my H/S/S Swamp Ash Strat with Fullshred is perfectly quite - H/S, standard fender tremolo bridge. So, on this V I can get rid of feedback/squeal if I roll back the volume a bit, but I dont have the tone of Custom that I love, and i have to fight a bit for pick harmonics, also i would need to have some boost for the leads, i play straight into the amp with Hush/BBE in the loop, I love tone and the gain of the amp. I love the tone and feel of this V, but i cant stop it from squealing, the second i stop playing if the volume is on 9/10. The pups have been properly wax-potted but still its there ..... any ideas ? Thank you!

It could just be that too much gain is hitting the preamp. Another option is a much more dynamic pickup than the Custom, something in the PAF area, too.

If there are covers on the humbuckers, check that they're soldered on really tight. Sometimes if they're a tiny bit loose they can rattle and squeal at high volume levels. Other than that, it's a matter of carefully picking where you're standing in reference to the amp, angling the guitar, and maybe reducing gain/volume a little bit. That's how I approach higher volumes when playing with a semi-hollow.

Per my OP have Hush in my loop, Super C, gets rid of hum and buzz entirely, so this clearly a "feedback" originating issue.

gotcha. have you put one before your amp instead of in the loop? i know people who use two, one before, one in the loop. i always have a gate before the amp when i play live or rehearse with drummers.
