I've always known about 'Polk Salad Annie', but never realized Tony Joe White was SOOOO good. Swampy rhythms and little hooks all over the place, along with a marvelous singing voice.
Some great tones, too; he's able to control the bite and attack of that Strat like it's part of his body; I wonder what kind of gear he used (though I suspect he could have sounded like himself with a cigar box guitar...)
