for those guys who've seen this clip..(crazy train)

i saw zakk wylde play this sharper cutaway les paul type guitar....anyone have any ideas on what it is? im sure the second guitarist was playing a gibby..but what about zakk??

I'm not so sure.

Unfortunatly there's a lot of sharp cutaways out there.

I presume we're talking about the Goldtop right?

I think it's larger than the PSS, and not to mention the Headstock was somewhat unique - my best guess is that is was probably Custom Made by a Luthier rather than a more established brand

I have the clip, I remember there being two... I'll watch again.

One is the light brownish seemingly custom made type guitar, and the other is a heritage cherry sunburst style finish Les Paul. Both kinda look like Wylde with the hair

ditto..at first i didn't know who was who..but then, only Zakk would play the solo so i knew it was him..

i have the DVD and its the worst music DVD i'ved seen, the music is good but the video is from different footages in different venues. maybe the second guitarist you've seen is actually zakk playing a diff. guitar at a diff. show. the LP style guitar by the way is custom made by a luthier. it was on ebay not too long ago.

I also remember the guy playing the heritage cherry sunburst LP was in Zakk's signature stance, as well as the guy playing the brown one.

Point in case in many of the songs to see Zakk with the Holy Grail one minute and then the Confederate Beer Top the next

This is a custom made guitar by Andy Beech. He also made the Demon V in the Rockstar movie. The guitar originally didn't have a cut out in it, but one night Zakk took a saw to it because he was having a hard time reaching the higher frets.

Interesting ... maybe it was the footage but I always thought that guitar was a goldtop for some reason
