Re: P-90 Neck And Tele Bridge...?

But could you tell me what two duncans (p-90 and standard tele bridge pup will match up well...(tele sound with a little dirt thrown in) :smack:

Re: P-90 Neck And Tele Bridge...?

it would depend on the specs of the tele - whether it's alder or ash, maple or rosewood board

I'd say one consideration would be a JD with a Vintage P 90 (SP90-1).

That combo would be so sweet in one of these: ;)

Re: P-90 Neck And Tele Bridge...?

For the P90, the Vintage Soapbar neck model should do the trick. The bridge is a little trickier because all of Seymour's Tele bridges appear to be either 7.6k and below or 14k and above.

My guess would be the Vintage Broadcaster Lead because it has flatpoles that will allow you to get the pu a little closer to the strings for more beef and therefore more dirt -- plus you might get lucky and get an overwound one. Omboy gave me one that's about 8.4k.
