Have a tele (alder body/Maple neck) stock bridge pickup that I modded with a sterile neck humbucker (not an SD) which is a little to dark for my tastes. Thought I would try a P-90 (SPH90-1 Phat Cat) as a replacement to get a little more snap out of the neck position. Anyone tried this combo?

I have played several stock phat cats and some custom wound ones I got from MJ. I love them. I have not played one in a Tele though. I'm guessing they'd match well with a Tele bridge pup. You'll definitely get more snap out of the neck, for sure.

Remember, Duncan has a 30 day "no suck" policy. If you don't care for the tone, you can exchange it for something else.
