p-rails vs wilde l-90 8h

been awhile guys. stopped playing for a bit and decided to pick it up again.

so here's the deal. i have a single humbucker strat with a 80s jb in it. thinking of going for something a little more versatile with the bridge pickup.

so what say you? a p-rail bridge with the full works (series, parallel, single coil and p-90 selectable) or a bill lawrence l-90 8h with a q filter?

no experience with the p-rail but had a l-500xl with q-filter before. can go from pseudo acoustic like to full blown humbucker with a knob plus no hum.

discuss?

best,
dani

P-Rail! No question. Use a Triple Shot mounting ring to get series, parallel, P-90, Rail.

PS: I've never had any noticeable hum with a P-Rail.

That's true, I haven't experienced much hum when playing through the amp and just a little if I plug directly into the Zoom G3 with headphones but a lot less than my beater Strat.

GuitarDoc is right in the choice of a triple shot mounting ring, you can't beat it for all the combinations he mentioned.
