P rails w/triple shot Hum

I finally got these p-rails w/triple shot working, just one little thing, they hum. I re-soldered the grounds and it helped a little. I know when using the single coil setting to expect some hum but this is way more then I thought it would be and they also have a hum in the humbucker and p-90 modes. It may be possible in the electronics where I "experimented" with a few things which I will list for you all so any advise as far as if you think anything I did could be making the hum worse then it should be. First I am looking for a "softer" tone so I used 500K volume pots (both pups) and 250K tone pots, both tone pots have "orange drop .022uf caps. Could any of that contribute to the hum? Any advise is appreciated, should I use a different tone pot? different cap? Let me know. Let me mention this is in a Gibson SG and there is no "black conductive paint" in the electronics cavity, would painting the cavity help?

I'd check all of your ground connections.

I have a set of P-Rails and Triple Shots in an SG and the series and parallel sounds are both virtually silent as far as hum is concerned. The type of pots and caps you're using shouldn't matter in terms of noise provided that they're all soldered properly.

The pots and cap won't contribute to the hum. Are they humming in series humbucker or parallel humbucker mode at all? If they are, check the connection to the output jack. In the end, if you go over your connections and they seem good, you might have to isolate each pickup to see if you can track this down. It does seem like a ground problem.

Check the bridge wire as well, make sure it’s still grounded. My PRails are silent in both humbucking modes and some hum in P90/rails modes.

Good point, the original stop end and tune-o-matic are removed and a stets bar vibrato is installed, it uses the same post holes that contain the ground connection, however I added a second ground wire just to be sure.
