P-Rails with a 4-positions Selector Switch?

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about about SingleCut HH, mounted with two P-Rails and I wish I could use both Rail/Serial/Parallel/P90 setup.

However, I don't like the Triple Shot, the switches are too tiny for me.

So I thought I would install two 4-positions Telecaster-ish Selector Switches and use them to select the right setup for each PU, in the same idea of the PRS 513.

I would still keep the 3 way toggle switch for Neck/Bridge+Neck/Bridge positions, with a Master Tone and Master Volume (since the two other pots will be used for Varitone Capacitor-Switch and BassCut).

Does anyone know if it could be possible and what would be the wiring for the P-Rail 4-pos blade switch?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

Re: P-Rails with a 4-positions Selector Switch?

1) Think of each P-Rail as a pair of single coils (which, of course, it is!).
2) Borrow the schematic diagram for a Fender Baja Telecaster from the FMI website.
3) Wire up one Baja T-style four-way switch per P-Rail.
4) (OPTIONAL) Wire up a third Baja T-style four-way switch to select between the two P-Rails.

Hi FunkFingers!!

I just realize how stupid my question is... Of course I can use a common 4-ways Telecaster wiring!!

I will have a look at existing diagrams...

Thanks for the reply, it was more easier than I thought ;)
