P90 mag orientation?

I have a 2011 Gibson P90 and i had removed the magnets ad forgot how they are oriented, so can anyone tell me this....when in placed correctly, would the edges that are facing the screws attract or repel if the screws weren't holding them apart? Thanks.

They're in there repelling, although I don't know if it's the South's facing each other or the North's.

Thanks. I don't think that matters unless theres a second pickup Then it just has the be the same as that. As long as i know they repel thats all i need. Thanks.

Gibson p-90's from that era have both North facing towards the pole screws ,If there any marks on the magnets it's usually on the north side .they will repel

ANy magnet can go into any P-90 regardless of orientation. If it identifies with that tone, it's good.

My P-94B has South orientation.

That means that both magnets are touching the keeper with their South side.
