P90 Replacement

Hello all!

I own a 1976 Les Paul 55 - it's a reissue of the Les Paul Special that was made from 1955 - 1960 or so. Single cutaway, flat-top body with P90s.

When I was young and stupid (and needed a lot of punch for the music I was playing) I replaced the bridge P90 with a DiMarzio Super Distortion. Even more stupidly, over the years I misplaced the original P90.

I would like to now bring this guitar closer to its orginal configuration, and would like to find a pickup that best matches the characteristics of the lost original. I still have the original P90 in the neck position and want to keep it there.

Any suggestions for the most appropriate P90 for the bridge?

I would think the Vintage SP90-1 or the Antiquity Saopbar which would look a little closer to the neck since it has a slightly aged cover. Got any pics of the guitar, I'd love to see it.

Thanks for the advice and welcome, Wattage - I'll try to get some pictures up next week. The poor guitar is a bit of a Frankenstein. The original tuners were replaced with nickel Grovers, and the original bridge replaced with a brass Schaller with micro-tuners. Brass nut installed. The original P90 is black and the DiMarzio is cream. It has wonderful tone and sustain but looks a bit funny right now! :smack:

I have a '90 Special that has been rebuilt 2x already so trust me I understand.
