PA-STK1 anybody use one?

Just wondering what these sound most similar to. Possibly putting one into an '09 USA Charvel in the neck position with a PATB3 (Alder body, rosewood neck). Thanks.

I've got it in my parts-superstrat-ocaster. Paired with a lil 59 in the neck and a PATB 3 in the bridge.....I mean its a good middle pickup, just don't really expect it to keep up with the PATB 3. The lil 59 does a pretty good job though.

The PATB-3 is the Blues Saraceno, wound in 10k P.A.F. territory so I think the PATB stack will keep up okay. I like it quite a bit sometimes. It's not meant to sound traditional, so if that's what you want try the STK S7 or S6.

But the PATB is a very deep pickup. Check the dimensions on the website before attempting to install it. Many guitars have required routing to fit that pickup.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll have to do a humbucker to single coil size conversion anyway, so some filling and routing will definitely need to be done. I've found that MarineTex epoxy/filler works well and will hold threads well.
