PAF Pro / Seth Lover comparisons

Hi everyone it's Rob from Sydney.

I'm nearly certain I want to buy some Seths for a spare strat I have (alder, maple/rosewood, vintage bridge). It's got a PAF Pro in the bridge at the moment (came with the guitar), it sounds a bit to thin for my tastes, how would a Seth compare to it in terms of frequency response (ie: treble, upper mids, lower mids, bass).

Thank You

Re: PAF Pro / Seth Lover comparisons

the paf pros to my ears are pretty bright and not very paf

the seths are bigger in the mids with a bigger rounder bass and a very open top end, much more balanced than the paf pro.
i might also suggest the patb-3 blues trembucker for that guitar

have you checked out the sound samples?
