Today I finally decided to go to the fabric store and see what Paisley fabric they had in that would go great with my Chrome Red Esquire. This is the results.

Re: Paisley pickguard.

Guess I should tell how did it.

I got the fabric at a place called Fabric Land. Went in took a look and found a different one this the one I got but asked the sales lady if they had anything else so she took a look and in the last place in the store she looked (she literally looked everywhere) she found this one. When I saw it I thought it was close to the color of my guitar but had no idea how close. She asked what I was using it for and I told her my pickguard on my guitar. Strangely enough she understood (her son plays guitar as well).

As for how it's put on she suggested something called Lite Steam-A-Seam it has a sticky side that you place the fabric on line it up place the paper over that and iron it. Then the back has a piece of paper that comes off when you adhere the fabric to it. Then all I had to do is line it up on the pickguard and iron it to get that to stick. The best thing about it is nothing is permanent until the Iron is applied. As for protecting the top I used clear plastic like I used on my school books when I was going to school.
