OK so after much deliberation I have decided to go with the PATB-3 Blues Saraceno in the bridge and the parallel axis single coil in the neck for a HS guitar for Greg Howe-y type music.
I have a schecter sun valley iii and it has no pickguard (rear routed). I'm worried that the parallel axis single coil will be too big as I just saw a side view on Google and it looks ENORMOUS.
The guitar comes with EMG retroactive singles in the neck and they look like normal noiseless size. Can anyone with parallel axis stack experience comment on theirs. I've heard EMGs are different in many regards (e.g. no baseplate meant i couldn't use a cruiser which was my original plan. Duncan noiseless don't usually have baseplate but what about the height of the pickups?)
Cheers guys!
