Parallel Axis

Why do they only make these for guitars with tremolos? They seem cool and unconventional. Why can't the rest of us play too!

IIRC, they're specifically designed to be "string-spacing-neutral". That is, the wide pole pieces means they'll work anywhere.

They work fine in non-trem guitars.

the PA tb series pups are made warmer for the floyd rose
a floyd rose has a more brittle tone than a fender or a gibson bridge
so seymour made these to compensate that factor
IF you want one the will work on any guitar get the blues saraceno one
it is still bright enough even for a les paul:beerchug:

look at the resonant peak of them the blues is the same as a duncan custom
