parts-o-caster bridge help

I'm putting together a parts-o-caster and am having trouble choosing a bridge. Need you guys to help me!!

I'm certain that I don’t want a floyd rose but want to retain some of the qualities and feel of a Floyd - I have decided on the following options but cant decide as they all seem to have their disadvantages;

Gotoh 510T - the Gotoh "T" models have the "FST" block which is tapered. I assume this would allow more downward travel in the trem. Disadvantage is that the block material is unspecified and likely to be zinc or a crappy pot alloy.

The Gotoh 510 "TS" models feature a steel block but not tapered so movement is limited.

Fender American Standard Trem - Tapered block made from sintered-steel however string spacing is 2-1/16 whereas I prefer 2-1/8. Also, the arm is screw in and I've heard they are prone to threading problems.

Gotoh/Wilkinson VG300 - Apparently feels like a floyd and has a thin block. However, the block material is again unspecified.

Schaller "Vintage" Tremolo - I actually have bought one. Looks killer and has a steel block, but which is only 37mm long. From eyeing it up this may mean the springs hit the bottom of the trem spring cavity half way through the trems travel!!

Ideally I want a trem with steel tapered block, 2-18 spacing and push in arm.

Does such a trem exist? If not, what should I trade off??

Re: parts-o-caster bridge help

the Fender American Standard and the Fender/Floyd bridges from the USA Deluxe strats are real close to the feel of a Floyd in my books.... i own a bunch of those bridges

Re: parts-o-caster bridge help

How much extra travel do you get from a tapered block? You could go with the big block and take a little extra wood out of the cavity for a bit more travel.
