PATB-2 is the thing..But you can Get a PATB-1...More Midds ,less compression!..Try it out..Or swap the PATB-2 Ceramic Magnet with an AlNiCo 5 or 8...
No way!Don't do it..It will make the PATB-2 sound too boxy...
Magnet Swap is easy...
1)Take the PU out
2)remove the Baseplate carefully...Don't "stretch" the wires...
3)remove the Magnet...Remember how it positioned to prevent Out Of Phase problems-
4)Put he new one.
5)Pot it if needed.But heating with a hair dryer mostly does the job.
6)If you ever have problems with potting ,ask again.
