PATB3 Blues Trembucker

Even though its kinda out there as far as looks, plus it isn't a widely used pickup,

I have been thinking that it may be great for what I want...Full PAF sound, overwound but not too overwound, with complex tone and harmonics...

Good for blues, fusion, electric jazz, and some funk...Think I would like it in a mahogany body strat with maple neck???

Re: PATB3 Blues Trembucker

The Blues Trembucker is one of my favorite pups. It's in my main guitar which I use for a variety of tones. From blues to Led Zep and Van Halen covers. Very nice all round pup.

I was thinking the same thing and have a used one on the way to try out in the future.

Re: PATB3 Blues Trembucker

It sounds great in a strat. I installed one in a friend's MIA Roadhouse strat and it sounds great. Big and fat with good cut and a good amount of the "hollowness" that a PAF has.
