So there is a pawn shop not far from where I work - it's within walking distance actually. I check there sometimes for odd bits of music gear. Most of it is junk all the times I've looked but just last Thursday I was there looking to trade some comic books that I've had since 1995 for a boss ds1. They had two ds1's in the case - one that I couldn't see well, but enough to know the distinctive orange boss paint. They opened the case so I could see both and turns out one had the Keeley seeing eye mod! I traded my comic books and $10 for the pedal, basically a $30 transaction in total. Got the pedal home and tried it - and wow! This ds1 really rocks! I opened the back plate and it has his signature inside and all. Finally scored something cool from a pawn shop for cheap! I don't think they knew what they had - they easily could have priced that at $75 or higher if they knew what it really was worth.
