i picked up this fender toronado today for $220..... the wanted 245 but i talked them down... Its got a few scratches but I have polished it up pretty good. I don't know how a fingerboard can have so much gunk on it but have no fretwear at all

i just cleaned the fretboard and restrung it.... it sounds really good. I didnt have to make too many adjustments. I'm really happy... and if it doesnt work out ill have no problem makin my $$ back

That's the first time I've seen a Toronado in black with tortoise shell pickguard...and it's also the first time I've seen one I liked!

Black with tortoise is always a winning combo...it's the only reason I bought my bass originally...

that looks great!
speaking of pawn shop scores.... i found an 80's charvel today. one humbucker, one volume, one damn good shred guitar. :D

Nice axe, really like the colors.

Nice score...best of luck with it..Years ago I picked up a mint condition Fernandes LE2 Strat revival series...Looks just like a 62 sunburst strat, for $200 cash at a pawn shop in Chattanooga...I still have it and the only changes was a bone nut and Duncan pickups and better electronics...

a pawnshop is a place where people can get a cash loan on their items (guitars, TVs, jewelry, ect..) and they usually get 60 days to pay the loan back. If they don't pay the loan back the pawnshop can sell their item.

when u get sick of that guitar, its looks, its tone, whatever, which i am sure u will shortly, feel free to send it over :6:
