1950's Wollensak tube tape recorder, and amp, with speaker. Theres actually one for sale now on ebay for 375.00! Thats crazy, i figure the unit is worth 25.00-40.00.
Its been in storage for 30 years, so I yanked it out and amp just letting it power up gradually for a few days , maybe reform the caps some . As you can see from the back, its got a 'phono in' 1/4" jack, that should give a really ratty sound assuming it still works properly but better than that, its actally a vintage tube guitar pre-amp of sorts, as it has a preamp out. Probably just need tweaking of the input resistors on the 1/4" input to make a cool sound.
The kicker is that you can record with the tube recorder onto tape everything your playing through the amp and speaker. Plus its got a speaker out so no need to listen to the small probably dryed out internal speaker .
