Pearly Gates bridge pup in the neck postion?

I'm needing to swap some new stuff into a flying v and was wondering if anyone has done this and how did they like it? I already have the PGb in a LP and I don't care for it too much. I just think it isn't right for this particular guitar. I'm putting a SH-5 in the bridge on the v, with the PGb in the neck, will they be pretty compatible or should I just go with a jazz or '59 in the neck?

Thanks

hmmmm, the custom might not sound raunchy enough to go along with the PGb, but that's your possible biggest problem there

Many have done it and dig it.

PG + Custom is a fantastic combo.

Look on you tube, there's a guy who put it that way round. I liked the demo he did. Fat scooped neck with lots of treble and warm but bright bridge with pronounced upper mids - and both pickups together where they compliment with different EQ is very sweet - not a million miles from the way Gibson 498t and 490r work together. Done hate that combo, I love it.

My PGb doesn't sound raunchy enough, that's the main reason it's got to go. Either this individual pickup or something about my LP doesn't have that Texas sizzle. It's more of Seth Lover but hotter sounding thing but less chimey. The PGn in the LP neck sounds great though.
