Pearly Gates potted?

Trying to find a good SD pickup to replace the stock ones in my Epi LP. I am leaning towards PGs but want a potted pickup. The stock Epis sound good to me, but squeal at higher volumes. From the specs, I've found that the SD 59s are potted... just curious.

The Pearly Gates model coils are wax saturated.

All stock Duncans are potted except the Seths
