Pearly Gates Single Coil Sized Humbucker

I had been thinking of dropping in a L'il 59 or JB Jr. into my Strat and ventured onto the SD site to see what's new. That's when I saw the info on the Pearly Gates single coil HB...hadn't seen that one before.

I've Googled it but can't find it on any of the online sites. Anybody here tried one or found a place to buy one? Can you order directly from SD?

Sounds cool, I didn't know they made those. I believe you order the custom shop pups direct, but I'm not sure. Maybe try talking to a dealer and see if they can order one?

I suspect this will be very close to the little '59, just with an Alnico magnet.

The custom shop puts any magnet you want into any "little" coil you want. A2 is probably too weak for the littles, so A5 in little == A2 in big, ceramic in little == A5 in big.

You can buy a lil PG from the Custom shop!

It is only available from the Seymour Duncan Custom shop. I can only think of 2 or 3 dealers that stock custom shop pickups and I can all but guarantee you that they will not have this in stock. Why try to find it online? You can just order it through the Custom shop. Trust me, if someone had one in stock, it would not be any cheaper!!!
